What we believe

What we stand for.

Ten commitments that shape how we worship, teach, serve and welcome — the foundations of this church.

01

Christ-Centred Living

Jesus Christ is at the centre of everything we do. We seek to help people know Jesus, love Jesus, follow Jesus and make Jesus known. Our desire is to see people develop a genuine relationship with God rather than simply practise religion.

02

The Word of God

We believe the Bible is the foundation of our faith, teaching, conduct and ministry. We are committed to sharing the undiluted Word of God through preaching, teaching, Bible study, discipleship and practical application.

03

Prayer

Prayer is at the core of our relationship with God. We believe prayer is more than a religious activity; prayer is relationship, communication, dependence and fellowship with God. We believe a praying church is a powerful church.

  • Make prayer central to their life
  • Talk to God about everything
  • Develop a consistent personal prayer life
  • Pray for their family, church, community and nation
  • Believe that God hears and answers prayer
  • Stand in the place of intercession for others

04

Worship & the Presence of God

We seek to provide a quality, Spirit-filled worship experience through praise, worship, hymns, prayer and a variety of musical expressions and instruments. Worship is not merely an item on a church programme; worship is a lifestyle of honouring God.

05

Family & Marriages

We believe strong families contribute to strong churches and strong communities. We provide encouragement, teaching, prayer and practical support for people at different stages of family life.

06

Community Outreach & Social Action

We believe the Church is called not only to gather but also to go. We take the love of Christ beyond the walls of the church and into our communities through practical expressions of God’s love.

07

Inclusivity & Belonging

We welcome people irrespective of age, gender, ethnicity, cultural background, social background, disability or additional needs, and life circumstances. Every person has dignity, value and God-given potential.

08

Discipleship & Spiritual Growth

We are committed to raising spiritually mature believers who understand their identity in Christ. Through worship, teaching, prayer, fellowship, mentoring and service, we help people grow from believers into disciples, and from disciples into Kingdom representatives.

09

The Next Generation

The next generation is not merely the Church of tomorrow — they are part of the Church today. We invest intentionally in children, teenagers and young adults, providing environments where they can know Christ, develop their gifts and discover their purpose.

10

Men & Women of Purpose

Men and women have significant roles to play in God’s Kingdom, their families, churches, workplaces and communities. We seek to raise men who lead with integrity, and women who walk confidently in their God-given purpose.

Our declaration

We are a people of Hope, Faith and Love. A praying people. A worshipping people. A people of the Word, of purpose, of compassion — committed to the Great Commission.
